1 pack of wantan dough

1 pack of poultry or pork meat

some soysauce, garlic, salt, pepper, jalapeño tabasco

oil

1 egg

mix the meat with the soysauce, garlic, salt, pepper and tabasco.

let it soak for at least 3 hours.

heat oil.

batter the egg.

put 1 piece of meat into 1 sheet of wantan dough.

put some of the battered egg onto the edges of the sheet,

apply some of the battered egg onto the edges and fold a nice envelope out of it.

fry it in the oil until the envelopes are brown.

serve them to your brother and listen proudly to him telling how good you can cook =;)

serve the wantan with soysauce or sweet-sour sauce or anything else.

we had diet coke with it. I wished it was booze.

Today we will cook something that easily feeds the whole horde:

per warrior you take

250g beef, cut into dices (or yak if you get any)

2 big potatoes, cut into pieces

300ml of hot instant chicken soup

salt

oil

Heat oil in a pot.

Fry the beef a bit. Add salt.

Add the potatoes and fry a bit longer.

Pour the soup over it.

Cover the pot with a lid.

Let it simmer.

Wait.

After 20-25 minutes the food is ready.

Call horde together.

Eat.

Die großen deutschen Verlage benutzen FSC-zertifizierts Papier und verkaufen ihre Bücher ab 15 Euro das Stück. Was steht drin? Nichts. Lettern, die an Großdruck grenzen, mit Seitenrändern, die reine Verschwendung sind, das Papier dick und schwer, für nichts und wieder nichts.

Warum können wir Deutschen keine Bücher drucken, die aus mehr Altpapier bestehen und 1/3 kosten, so wie es die Kanadier machen?

Piper, Knaur und Heyne verschwenden wertvolle Ressourcen mit der Aufmachung ihrer Bücher. Paradebeispiel: Markus Heitz "Collector" von Heyne.

Was bring mir FSC-Papier, wenn ich Zellstoffressourcen schonen könnte wie mit Jeff Somers "The electric church" bei Orbit?

Dünneres, leichteres Papier, mehr Buchstaben auf weniger Raum, weniger Kosten, mehr Umweltschutz.

Es ist ein Horror, darüber nachzudenken, wie viele Bäume in meinen Bücherregalen stehen, unnütz abgeholzt.

Ein schlechtes Buch wird nicht besser, weil es auf teurem Papier gedruckt ist.

Ich hoffe, dass wir alle zusammen lernen können, unsere Wälder zu schützen, und trotzdem in den Genuß von Büchern gedruckt auf Papier zu kommen.

Die Folgen: Eines Tages ersticken an wir unserem eigenen Dreck, da wir es nicht schaffen, konsequent auf erneuerbare Energien zu setzen, Erdöl zu sparen und die Natur und besonders die Wälder verantwortungsvoll zu nutzen und zu schützen.

Unsere Dekadenz schaufelt uns unser Grab.

Alles was uns noch helfen kann, ist Bildung.

The big German publishers use FSC-certified paper and sell their books from 15 € each. What's it say? Nothing. Letters that are adjacent to large print, with margins that are pure waste, the paper is thick and heavy, for absolutely nothing.
Why we can not print German books cost, consisting of more waste paper and 1 / 3, as do the Canadians?
Piper, Knaur and Heyne wasting valuable resources with the presentation of their books. Prime example: Markus Heitz "Collector" by Heyne.
What I bring FSC paper, if I could conserve resources such as pulp with Jeff Somers' The Electric Church "in orbit?
Thinner, lighter paper, more characters in less space, less cost, more environmental protection.

It is a horror to think about how many trees are in my bookcases, cut useless.

A bad book is not better because it is printed on expensive paper.

I hope we can all learn together to protect our forests, and still printed in the enjoyment of books to arrive on paper.

The consequences: One day on, we suffocate our own filth, because we do not manage to consistently focus on renewable energy, to save oil and the nature and especially use of the forests responsibly and protect.
Our decadence digs our grave.

I attempted to send this damned guy a message after they left me behind, but dammit, all my contacts either got killed in the riot or made it out of here.

fuck it, i thought, there is nothing to lose anymore and when he sits with his fat ass on the fragging huge pile of yen he made, drinking real whiskey, i should kick him right into the face, if i should ever see anything else but the bone-pale sand all around me.

out here in the cyberpunk-novel-desert you had nothing to lose at all...

its not like i would ever get over the feeling your brain dries out and you're slowly starving to death cause there is nothing out there anymore to read, in fact nothing that is worth it.

so i stumbled over this guy, Jeff Somers or whatever he called himself, and the fucker got me hooked onto his novels..i should have put one in his ear the second he stepped into sight this rainy night back downtown Manhattan.

its no like i am a woman of too many or too high demands, but damnit i was Stoif Rosa and he really impressed me.

Avery Cates, aye? i still raise an eyebrow at this name, the lad Somers brought with him.

At first, he made quite a tough impression on me. acting all inhuman and distant, stubborn and pretty luckless the little fuck. i was in love.

he was around my age, maybe really the best gunner right after Ol'Orel, but how to impress a Techie by heart by killing people with a miracle of precision engineering?

with time he got trained to keep his fingers off the last sip of gin in the bottle when i was around, but fuckit, in fact it was my fragging moonshine...

and he got old. i never thought i might see Cates get that old in such a short time, might be his chum Somers' fault who brought him directly to Chengara when New York was cleared out.

he got..human, emotional, and what is worse: less violent. maybe he'll reconsider when i'll shove the barrel up his sorry ass next time we meet.

they didnt call me the Franconian Freak for nothing.

in fact he could have told in the last messages i received a bit more precisely what he had to suffer from in prison, i guess that would have satisfied me at least a bit.

Oh, Avery's successful now. Avery's a fucking god who stepped down to earth for us.

with Cates on my mind, probably the only guy in the whole system who deserved a commendatory nod from me, i squinted at the reflection the mercilessly burning sun caused on blank metal in the distance. i got up with a wry grin on my face when the next transport arrived at the barbwire-mounted gates, and i could swear i saw Somer's face among the newcomers..

The Cookbook of Insanity Pt.8: Pizza a la troll

Ingredients:

for the dough:

1/2 pack of dried yeast (expired 2008 but still worked =:P)

1/4 cup of milk

1/4 cup of luke water

1 1/2 cups of dough

some sugar and salt, maybe olive oil if you like it

toppings:

happened tomatoes, spiced with pepper, salt and herbs

salami

mozzarella

black olives, sliced

ground cheddar

secret ingredient:

Tabasco green pepper sauce

for the dough you throw all ingredients into a bowl and mix it. easy, naw?

leave the dough in the bowl, put a lid on it and let it rest in a warm place with no occuring draft for at least 12 hours.

(I had mine resting for 18 hours in the turned off microwave)

preheat the oven to 250°C, roll out the dough and place it on a baking tray with baking paper,

then slice the salami, the olives and the mozzarella

and put it all on top of the dough,

starting with the happened tomatoes, salami, mozzarella, olives and ground cheese

bake the whole thing in the oven for 15 minutes

eat it with the tabasco green pepper sauce YUM!

Cookbook of Insanity Pt. 7: Devilish dips

1 pack of puff pastry

3 big slices of cooked ham

a lot of cheddar

sour cream

tabasco

salt, pepper, muscat

Chop the cooked ham and cheese into small dices, better grind the cheese.

Roll open the puff pastry and spread some sour cream on it.

Salt, pepper and muscat over the sour cream now.

Spread the ham on it, then the ground cheese.

Now don't hesitate on the tabasco. There can not be enough tabasco.

Roll up the puff pastry and cut it into slices as thick as a finger.

Place the slices on a baking tray with baking paper and put some ground cheese on top of each slice.

Bake in oven at 180° for 30 minutes, set on hot air.

The cookbook of Insanity Pt.6: Curled up chicken

you need:

1 pack of puff pastry

400 grams of chicken breast, chopped (you can also marinade it the day before)

1 pack mozzarella, chopped

1 handful of bear's garlic, chopped

some creme fraiche or similar stuff

grounded cheddar cheese - or other grounded cheese

salt, pepper, spices

Roll open the puff pastry and spread some creme fraiche on it.

Spread the chopped bear's garlic and the chicken on it.

Now spice it up with salt, pepper, tabasco, anything you like.

Spread the chopped mozzarella over it and carefully roll up the puff pasty.

If you have a nice, tight roll, take a big sharp knife and cut off slice, about as thick as your finger.

Place the slices on baking paper on a backing tray and top the slices with the grounded cheddar.

Put the tray into the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.

At any time. I thought about having a deep-going quote here, but how to describe what can't be told in words?

Ive collected a few things in this blog to share them with the world, things i experience awake for the whole night, just to be together...

Although several different styles of gin have existed since its origins, gin is broadly differentiated into two basic legal categories. Distilled gin is crafted in the traditional manner, by re-distilling neutral spirit of agricultural origin with juniper berries and other botanicals.

I can live with that. Now the really important question!

Which gin is the best?

Uhm..well..I only drink Gordon's Dry for 12.99 € and get a bottle of Bombay Sapphire every year for birthday..and have a horrible headache afterwards.

To what conclusion does that lead?

As long as its gin, drink it.

If you are rich, buy Bombay Sapphire.

If you are richer, buy more expensive gin.

If you are chintzy folk like I am, buy Gordon's.

If you are poor, buy cheap gin.

What do we learn from that?

Gin is gin, doesn't matter if you walk down Gin Lane in rags or all posh.

Am I a fucking drunkyard if I drink gin?

OH NO! Gin is the nectar of the Gods! You can't drink enough gin.

How do I enjoy my gin right?

Alright, thats pretty easy:

Pour gin into a glass (at least 1/2 of the glass must be filled with gin, I recommend you Gordon's Dry, if available take the 40).

Add tonic water (easy on the tonic!!!)

Let 3 icecubes slide into the glass (2 have no style, 4 is too much, 1 is just poor, 5 is for posers. so add 3 and only 3)

Stir it (or not, if I was you, i wouldn´t do so).

Ignore all the people telling you, you drink too much.

Pose under a blacklight to bring the Gin Tonic on the rocks to its full prime.

Get wasted and/or heavy.

Stay heavy.

What if my girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband complains?

Go and get a new one, along with a bottle of gin you like best!

Or get no partner at all!

One person less who might wanna drink your gin!

Shall I share my gin?

Well there are rules, without the world can't live. Though I dont follow most of them, there is The One And Only Really Important Rule:

NEVER GIVE AWAY YOUR LAST GLASS OF GIN!

its ok to share it with your chummers, its ok to make your pet drunk with it, its ok to punish your plants by soaking them with it, its ok to clean your sextoys with it, its ok to make your fridge smell better or to spritz it all over to you prevent people talking to you, its ok to spill it over your Avery-Cates-Books, its ok to to throw the bottle with the last remaining sip after noisy kids playing outside.

As you can see, there are many important things one can do with the last glass of gin, so never break the most important rule of human nature and give away the glass of gin.

CONCLUSION:

There is no problem a good chilled bottle of booze can't solve.

(as Spirit of Geogria is only available in german-speaking Europe, you may take something similar or mix blood orange and prickly pear juice with soda. make sure the slighlty bitter taste doesnt die by doing so)

3 icecubes

i recommend to mix it 1/1, if you dont wanna be wasted within an hour, mix it 1/3

Brain (NOT invented by me, any other receipts are)

grenadine

bailey´s

take a shot glass (?) pour in the grenadine first, so the glass is filled for 1/3

now pour carefully the korn in (again for 1/3), so it doenst mix with the grenadine

let drops of bailey´s float over the back of a teaspoon into the glass

the bailey´s will stay between the grenadine and korn (yes, and look like a brain)

when everybody stares deeply impressed at the small brain floating in the glass, drink it at once and let it mix in your mouth. happy climax!

mashed potatoes (ok, i admit i use the packaged one..)

some feta

1 chicken leg

needle and thread

chicken seasoning, salt, pepper, nutmeg

skin the chicken leg in ONE piece, the skin must not have any holes!

cut the meat off the bones and chop it to small pieces

take the thread and tie the narrow side (the one where the feet were) of the skin together

chop the feta into small pieces

stuff the meat and feta into the tube you just made out of the chicken skin

sew the other side of the chicken skin together, on the very edge of it

(yes, i know, neither you nor me is a doc, but when you have been sewed once, you know what it should look like...do it well, so when the feta gets liquid it wont float out)

lookout! the skin shouldnt look like it will explode anytime soon, leave some space (while already stuffing the skin) so the meat and cheese can expand when its heating (oh, yes, and it will! just look at my oven now....)

anyways, season the chicken...uhmm..chicken victim from the outside

throw it into the oven (look in the manual for how long and at what temperature / 180°C at LO-0 for 10 minutes in my case)

put a plate below the grate the chicken victim is laying on (cause if the skin breaks open, all the tasty fat and liquid feta will drop onto it YUM!)

try not to make it explode

now make the mashed potatoes and season it heavily with nutmeg ;) and salt and pepper

serve the chicken victim on a different plate as the mashed potatoes

cut away first the tied together narrow side. when you nearly finished the dish, its easier to cut the sewing off the skin

have diet coke with it (ok, i had a lack of anything else to drink..so choose the frag yourself!)

1 cup of rice

1 slice of cheese

1 chicken leg

1 can of peas OR 1/2 pack of spinach (spinach is for "Chicken-Koji has fun in spring")

1/2 bottle of cream

salt, pepper, chicken seasonings, nutmeg, potatoe seasoning

boil the rice

cut the meat of the chicken leg off the bones, make sure you get one large piece of meat without holes

throw some seasonings onto the chicken meat (on the inside), roll the cheese into it and tie it with some cord together

season it from the outside too

throw it into the pan and fry it from every side until its all crunchy and tanned (about 10 minutes) meanwhile heat the oven to 170°C and put out some aluminium foil

wrap the chicken roll into the foil and throw it into the oven

fry the rice and peas (or spinach) in the pan, when its slightly brown, pour the cream in and close the lid. let the whole thing boil for about 3 minutes

open the lid so the water in the cream can evaporate

unwrap the chicken roll from the foil and remove its ties

put the pearice onto a plate and the chicken roll on top of it

drink diet coke or dark beer with it (or anything else...i recommend gin too)

1 stick of cinnamon

1/2 stick of vanilla (or more, depends on how much you like)

about 5 cloves and 1 to 2 stars of anis

red wine (if you use white wine, i recommend pouring some orange juice into it)

some honey or sugar, kardamom

let the whole thing simmer for about 20-25 minutes till the wine tastes after the spices

never heat it over 70°C else the alcohol will disappear

you can also pour some dark juices made from berries in it to make it sweeter

drink hot and look for something you can take a tight hold on

for 2 persons:

250g pork

200g kimchi (pickled korean lettuce) must be the korean one!

4-6 potatoes

1 parsnip

200g sour cream

herbals

salt, pepper

white wine

chop the pork and the kimchi into small pieces. then mix the pork and the kimchi and leave it in the kimchi decoction about 12 hours, better 24 hours covered in the fridge

chop the raw potatoes and parsnips into small pieces and fry it in the pan until they´re done. Add some salt and pepper.

Meanwhile you also fry the pork mixed with the kimchi AND its decoction. Add some white wine when it´s going to be done soon. No further seasoning! NO salt, no pepper, nothing!

then mix the sour cream with some salt and pepper.

first you take the potatoe/parsnip on the plate, on top of it some of the hot rat (lol) and some sour cream.

have a shitload of white wine with it.

Tsulea Randt, owner of The Darkest Age in Ahndang and GM in New Delphi talked to SLC reporter Schdeuph Rosca about creativity in Second Life.

Tsulea says, she always wanted to set up a cyberpunk styled avatar with body enhancements, but everything she saw was just over the top or too cartoony. So she started her own business, looking for more attitude for her own avatar: "I couldn´t find much for woman that really had the rough/tough kinda feel. I was looking for a decent mohawk, and that´s where I started, I mady my own and shortly all my friends were asking for one."

Not only hair, coats and powerpacks but also demon accessories can be found in her mainstore, a gothic build where she snuck some of the stained glass she makes in Real Life next to writing software manuals. "The marriage of tech and art has helped me immensly here. If I´m not being creative, I´m not happy - its just in the blood" Tsulea says about the possibilites Second Life gives her to create her vision "And again, roleplay is an extension of my creativity, I love to create stories and atmosphere. I will play, paint, sculpt and add my touch to anything that isnt nailed down. so I create a picture to reflect my mood or desire."

Tsulea says, that most of the other creators she´d gotten to know are very impassioned, creative peope who aren´t so much driven by profit, as their love to build. Those are her inspiration and kindred spirits she says, as she shares a lot with them.

"It´s like symbiotic relationship" the young builder says about her customers "i want to provide an outlet for their personality, their exression, and with their feedback, they give me even more inspiration to create. My aim is to grow and improve, i cant sit still and i will keep working to create whats in my head, in the best way i can."

"Actually I´ve had one of my hairstyles copied already" Tsulea gives a statement to copybotting "its really disappointing and you feel kinda violated. I can understand being inspired by a creation someone else but copy it? that´s truly horrid." she says, expressing with those words the opinion of many creators "But in the end it happens. I can´t let myself stress over it to much or the fun of Second Life will die for me."

Regarding the future, Tsulea would like to improve her sculpting and scripting skills "Sometimes the challenge itself is all i need" she says "There are no limits as I create on whim and I´m not bound by what´s popular, or fashionable in Second Life.

I hope that people really explore and appreciate the possibilities Second Life has to offer, and learn to grow past thier everyday inhibitions. You can find everything here, a vast multitude of cultures, imagintion, artistic expression. If you have always wanted to star in a Mad Max movie, or wanted to pilot a space ship, do it! Step out of those cliques and clubs and start exploring yourself as well as the ever growing digital galaxy around you. Life has a lot to offer if you only step outside the box and go looking for it. Nothing is holding you back here, so don't be afraid to take the bull by the horns and push your limits, its worth it."

Alia Baroque, a fantasy cover artist in RL and owner of +Fallen Gods Inc.+ , the likely most popular shop for fantasy sk

ins in Second Life agreed to give a first interview ever to Schdeuph Rosca, SLC.

Alia, who has a degree in visual communication and illustration, always wanted to tell stories, like in the graphic novels that are in progress. "In SL we get rid of our boundaries, and we realize our own mind finds it personal way to rappresent ourselves." the artist says "My skins are a way to give material to other roleplayers to tell their stories. To show what is the form of their mind and imagination. Maybe this is a way to know ouselves better."

On the main sim Selidor with the +Fallen Gods Inc.+ shop, which is held in the style of eclectic architecture, mixing a lot of elements to a surprisingly calm ambience, and the medieval Lost Town have their place. "Its an environment made to relax you, to make you feel good when you are here and show you what I have to offer, not jump on you." Alia says about the decisions made on the landscaping and buildings. "Making you come as a castaway in the water, not popping out of the blue on your screen, not screaming at you."

The surrounding sims like Athan with its abandoned School in the middle of a gathering of a few forested small islands, invites you to stay and relax, like Aear, with its melancholy lighthouse on a single rock in the sea.

"I want the people to go around exploring, not treating them as idiots, but as a respected smart incarnated virtual persona." the artist says.

"Second Life is an amazing way to express yourself. But there´s another mind behind our pixels, and we shall recall this." Alia expresses thoughts on Second Life. "Human is who respects the other as first, then sees if that respect is well placed." as there's seen lack of humanity and respect in here.

To content theft the young european also has a strong attitude "Content theft is like stealing your child, it hurts and is offensive for human nature. Those wo claim my textures to be their own, while i painted on those 500 megabytes pds-files with tons of layers and every single muscle, make me really angry and offend me and that makes me mostly sad after all."

Regarding customers, Alia showed off a lot of understanding: "We are all minds with our peculiarities, and I owe all who support me a lot, for letting me share my vision. It flattens and honors me, that a real mind likes and loves what I do, and I am the one who shall thank them, not the opposite."

Failed who is a professional 2D/3D artist in Real Life for prototypes and virtual architecture says about why he is building weapons for roleplay: " Well, always had a passion for the art of weapons crafting,I would say my inspiration is a mix of creative and destructive beauty. I believe in function,the simpler it is, the better it works. "

"Starting out, people have to know you exist. Failed answers to the question what the main problems for new builders in Second Life are.

By helping others, promoting friends, and listening to suggestions and advice, the young gunsmith hopes that his methods of customer service and generosity will bring success to his shop.

Grendel´s Drakelets:

Buy an egg for 30L$ an let it hatch in the sim on a magic spot.

Just unfortunately their builder left Second Life. But Grendel´s owner told me, their thinking about rebuilding them themselves as many people keep asking for them.

And again: Stan Nicholls Orc´s 3 are as boring as the 2 books before X_X
